Switzerland is a mountainous Central European country, home to numerous lakes, villages and the high peaks of the Alps. Its cities contain medieval quarters, with landmarks like capital Bern’s Zytglogge clock tower and Lucerne’s wooden chapel bridge. The country is also known for its ski resorts and hiking trails. Banking and finance are key industries, and Swiss watches and chocolate are world renowned.
Itinerary: 5 days / 4 nights.
Day 1
Arrive in Zurich and then take a train to Interlaken. Evening free at leisure though you can also explore a beautiful village called Boningen or explore a beautiful water fall at Trummelbach.
Day 2
Take a train to Interlaken OST and then onward train to Grindelwald which is the starting point for the Jungfraujoch . Enjoy the whole day at the top of Europe.
Day 3
Travel to Luzern via train which will take around 2 hours from Interlaken OST and recommend you to take a slow train which is the most scenic one. Explore evening on your own.
Day 4
After breakfast leave your hotel for Mt Titlis Excursion. From Luzerne you need to take a train to Engelberg which will take around 1 hour & 17 Minutes, after reaching Engelberg you need to take a free shuttle to the cable car area for reaching Mt Titlis. You must stay there till the last time as there is possibility of exploring snowfall.
Day 5
You can utilize this day as per your flight schedule, if you have a flight from Zurich in late evening then you can leave early for Zurich or for Rhine falls excursion.
